Sr. Project Manager
Kimberly Kinrade was born with ink in her veins and magic in her heart. As a child, she saw words in clouds where others saw shapes. Always entrepreneurial in nature, when her business relationship with the Tooth Fairy ended (she ran out of teeth to sell), she began selling her fantastical short stories to the neighbors. (These were far easier for her to produce than more teeth.)
A reformed journalist who also dabbled in hypnotherapy, business consulting, and insurance sales, Kimberly has worked as a ghostwriter, freelance writer, professional blogger, editor, PR specialist, copyeditor and social media consultant for many businesses and individuals.
In addition to her work with Novel Publicity, she is also the Marketing Director for an author-centric small press, Evolved Publishing—where she is a young adult paranormal author—and co-founder of WordOne2Done.com, a free site that teaches teens and young adults (and anyone else who wants to pop over) the craft and business of writing, marketing and publishing and features a YA Book Club.
The book that changed Kimberly’s life is The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. Kimberly has always secretly (or not so secretly) believed that any moment she will find a magic doorway to another world. In the meantime, she writes about those worlds. She is a voracious reader, and while she enjoys all types of novels, YA paranormal novels and fantasy are her absolute favorites. It’s no wonder that her first book, Forbidden Mind (Forbidden, #1), involves teens with paranormal powers trying to escape an evil organization.
Kimberly can be reached via email, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Amazon Author page, or GoodReads. You can also learn more about her by visiting her author website: www.KimberlyKinrade.com
My ideal client is:
Someone who is enthusiastic about their novel, committed to putting forth a quality product and open to being creative and involved in the marketing of their novel and themselves.
I love working with authors of YA, Romance, and fantasy and would also enjoy a chance to work with horror, thriller and children’s books. But I’m open to anyone who has enthusiasm and commitment to their work.
