About Allie

Allie Semperger has been a voracious bookworm since she was a child and she’s still hungry today. She studied English with a concentration in writing at Kalamazoo College, where she wrote essays, plays, short stories, and a novella. After college, Allie spent a year in Los Angeles, earning a certificate from the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA. She fulfilled a lifelong dream in 2013 by completing her first novel during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). In her spare time, Allie loves to travel – she recently returned from a trip to Iceland and can’t wait for the next adventure. As an editor, I provide a detailed line-edit, which is a comprehensive review of your manuscript’s grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. The line-edit is focused on the technical side of the process and how your manuscript was written (not focused on themes, characters, etc.). The editorial review will also focus on chapter organization, consistent voice and format, getting rid of passive voice, ensuring clarity and logic, and incorporating our best friend, the Oxford comma.
